Contact Me

I often write about sensitive topics, and I realize sometimes you might have something to say that you’d rather not have plastered on a public forum. No worries. I totally get it. 🙂

If you want to contact me privately, feel free to leave a comment here and just specify “do not publish.” I screen all my comments before they appear on the site, and I will just read it and then delete it. However, if you want a private response, be sure to leave me your email address or another way to contact you.

You can also email me at:

Before you write, please be sure to review my House Rules.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Peace,

  1. Interesting question, Susan. To be honest, I don’t really know. I’m not involved with my ex-husband anymore, except in matters involving the children. Not in a nasty/cold/harsh type of way–just in a healthy boundary type of way.

I have never really asked my ex, “Hey, what do you think of my work?” But I’m pretty sure he is aware of it, and in his own way, he has shown that he is supportive. You have to remember … a lot of time has passed. And he is fighting this thing now too–on his own front, and in his own way. I’m not really sure about the details. We aren’t enmeshed in each other’s lives anymore, so it’s appropriate to have that boundary. He has his own support system, just like I have mine. And I’m totally cool with that.

While I am a strong advocate against pornography, I don’t believe it is productive to bash people … so in my writing I try to maintain a clear distinction between hating on porn and hating on my ex. For me, it’s not the same thing.

In any case, if my ex ever does come across my work, I hope he’s okay with what he finds, because while I do my best to be honest and translucent when discussing my first marriage, I am also mindful. I try to be respectful and remember that he is a person too.

  2. Hello Melody,

I recently came across https://mamacrossroads.com/ and saw that Mama Crossroads also tries to help people of all ages break free of their porn addiction. I have recently created a free adult content blocker/filter software that can help people battling porn addiction as well as for parents trying to protect their children. I would be honored if you could link the software somewhere on your site (as a resource).

This free resource tool can be found here: http://www.pornguard.org

Look forward to hearing from you and thanks for all that you do.

    Cheers,
    – Brock
